M’Sila – As part of the observance of World Breast Cancer Awareness Day, the Wilaya Social Activities Department, in coordination with the Wilaya Directorate of Health and Population, organized an awareness-raising day under the slogan “Towards a Future Free from Breast Cancer”, under the supervision of Mr Nadjm Eddine Tayar, Wali of M’Sila. The event was held in the Nourddine Sahraoui Conference Hall at the Wilaya headquarters.
The awareness day was opened by the Wilaya Inspector General, accompanied by the Director of Health and Population, in the presence of specialist doctors, medical and paramedical staff, as well as psychologists.
The event featured presentations explaining the causes of breast cancer, methods of care and treatment, and preventive measures. On the sidelines of the event, screening and diagnostic examinations were conducted at the Wilaya’s Social Medical Centre for female employees of the local authorities sector.
