M’Sila / As part of the continued monitoring of the implementation of various development and vital infrastructure projects across the municipalities of the Wilaya’s daïras, with a view to bringing them into operation, and to assessing the extent to which the needs expressed by citizens are being addressed, Mr. Nadjm Eddine Tayyar, Wali of the Wilaya of M’Sila, conducted, on the afternoon of Tuesday, 07 October 2026, a working and inspection visit to a number of development projects and public facilities in the Municipality of M’Sila.
The visit was attended by the Head of the Daïra of M’Sila, the Director of Water Resources, the Director of Public Facilities, the President of the People’s Communal Assembly of M’Sila, as well as the companies responsible for carrying out the projects.
During the visit, the Wali inspected the following projects:
Municipality of M’Sila:
- Inspection of the project for the renewal of the main sewer collectors in the Sonitex district, the second phase of the operation to renew the main sewer collector along Urban Road No. 11, from the intersection serving the 700 Housing Units district to the entrance of the Textile District, “Sonitex”, over a length of 3,000 metres, using PRV pipes with diameters of 1,600 mm and 1,000 mm, including the installation of 84 prefabricated manhole units and the construction of 168 stormwater drainage inlets.
- Inspection of the development works project, following the completion of the sewerage network renewal works in the Textile District (Sonitex).
- Development of the road serving administrative facilities (the Directorate of Education and Slimane Amirate Clinic), connecting National Road No. 60 to the headquarters of the Directorate of Education.
- Inspection of the development project of the National Institute for the Training of Education Personnel of the Wilaya of M’Sila (Malek Bennabi).
The Wali stressed the need to:
- Accelerate the pace of work by reinforcing the construction sites and ensuring compliance with the required standards and implementation deadlines.
- Ensure daily and regular monitoring of all projects and strengthen coordination among the various services in order to ensure their completion and handover within the prescribed deadlines.
