As part of the preparations for the local elections scheduled for 28 November 2026, Mr. Nadjm Eddine Tayyar, Wali of the Wilaya of M’Sila, chaired a meeting on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, of the Wilaya Cell responsible for monitoring the arrangements for the election of members of the People’s Communal Assemblies and the Wilaya People’s Assembly. The meeting was held in the Ahmed El Ghazi conference room at the Wilaya headquarters, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Wilaya, the Inspector-General of the Wilaya, the Chief of Staff, the Director of Regulations and General Affairs, the Director of Local Administration, the Director of National Telecommunications for the Wilaya, the Wilaya Security Delegate, the Director of Civil Protection, the Conservator of Forests, the Director of Health and Population, the Director of Transport, the Director of Education, the Director of Public Works, the Director of Posts and Telecommunications, the Director of Energy and Mines, the Director of Hydraulics, the Director of Trade, the Director of Public Facilities, the Director of Youth and Sports, the Director of Culture, the Director of the Environment, and the Director of Agricultural Services.
The meeting aimed to assess progress in the material and logistical preparations for the election of members of the People’s Communal Assemblies and the Wilaya People’s Assembly, scheduled for 28 November 2026.
On this occasion, the Wali stressed the need to mobilise all human, material and logistical resources and to put in place all arrangements required to ensure the smooth conduct of the local elections on 28 November 2026.
