M’Sila / The campaign to prevent hazards associated with wells continues. An uncovered well is not just a hole in the ground; it is a deadly danger that threatens our children and livestock.
Our appeal to all farmers and citizens:
- Never leave a well uncovered.
- Secure it with a strong, lockable metal cover.
- Install a fence and a protective barrier around it, together with a warning sign.
- Immediately report any abandoned well by calling Civil Protection at 1021.
